This is the last page of (maybe the first) Tales From Port Orion.

It’s been an experiment for us, and we thank you for your input and encouragement.

The idea for using Anthromotes (Remote Robots) was not originally part of the plan at all. But in issue “And the Award Goes From” the need arose for a mysterious character, a bandit who was relentless, and I wanted Tweed to stop him, to shoot him, but not (yet?) be a cold blooded killer.

Hard to trace remote robots seemed to fit in this world.

Then I thought how crazy it would be if people were controlling to do nefarious things, but were oblivious.

This side story is a bet of an explanation to how that plays out in “Chuck Wagon in the Alley” and “The Least of These.”

We are going to take next week off for the most part and post the Cover for issue 8 on the Sept. 18th.

Thanks again.
